Set on a highly contoured site, this house investigates the concept of a building that disappears into the land only to emerge from the valley as a machanor viewing deck. Capitalizing on multiple views, the southern sun and the steep drop, two extensions are proposed. The upper plate forms the main family space along with the master bedroom while the lower extension forms the space of the children and the family terrace above. The house itself is entered above the family extension, through a landscaped slope that mirrors the mountains behind and extends into a green house and horizon beyond.
