The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation staff housing in Noida, is planned for 192 dwelling units with a mix of lower and middle income group employees. The site plan uses two adjoining green belts to enhance the green expanse inside. Three residential towers fan out on the site to maximize the southern sun exposure and create smaller gardens in between and a large community green at one end. Each building is formed around interlocking double height terraces that are an integral part of the corridors. This is structurally made possible by a series of shear walls. (This project passed tender stage and Noida Authority Approvals but has not yet been constructed).
